Ten input Video and Stereo Auto Scanning Switcher
Designed to assist in the quality control of duplicated video
tapes by monitoring the video and audio output from each tape machine.
It shows that each recorder is obtaining both audio and video signals
during the recording process. Should a machine be playing and not
recording or fail it can be immediately identified. When spot checks
are made after recording, the switcher automatically switches between
all transports enabling rapid quality checks to be made of all ten
recordings. Up to 10 videotape machines can be viewed on a single
screen and monitored automatically using the VASS10 scanning function.
The operator can also set the scan rate of the switching between
0.5sec and 30sec intervals. It can also be used as a manual switcher.
Dubbing houses can link multiple switchers to quality control literally
hundreds of machines quickly and efficiently. The VASS10 makes an
ideal companion to the VADA1010 or VADA1023
