We at Tieline Technology think that live audio over
the internet is the next big remote broadcast revolution
and in order to help our radio and television partners
take full advantage we have come up with several breakthroughs
that will be unveiled for the first time at NAB2006.
For starters, our Commander and i-Mix G3 platform can
now deliver FM-quality mono and stereo audio for remote
broadcasts utilizing IP via DSL, LAN, the public internet
or wireless connections.
Of course, nothing is changing faster than the emerging
technologies in wireless connections and Tieline Technology
has broken new ground with the release at NAB2006 of
a software module that allows broadcasters to deliver
live broadcast-quality, low-delay remotes to the studio
via 3G wireless broadband cellular connections.
The audio over IP and 3G wireless broadband cellular
breakthroughs have helped Tieline Technology upgrade
its codecs to the point where our Commander G3 is the
world’s first digital audio codec to offer broadcasters
six different network options to choose from. These
options guarantee broadcasters a stable audio link to
the studio no matter where the remote is located.
We would love to have you drop by our booth located
at N3215 in the Radio/Audio Hall to see a live demonstration
of our ground-breaking digital audio codecs. We will
also be unveiling our latest codec – the TLR300B
Commander G3 multi-platform studio audio codec –
which comes in two sizes and features re-engineered
inputs to offer a choice of analog or digital AES/EBU
audio inputs and outputs.
We would also be glad to set up appointments for you
to interview key staff during or outside show hours.
Before NAB2006 opens, if you require further information
or would like to set up an interview, please feel free
to call or e-mail. You can also find our NAB2006 press
kit online at www.tieline.com.
