Codec Name |
A user-specified alphanumeric identifier which may be used by third-party SNMP software to identify a device. The device name corresponds to the ".iso.org.dod.internet.mgmt.mib-2.system.sysName" SNMP attribute and is completely independent of DNS, NIS, WINS or other device naming and identification schemes, though convention is to use the device's fully-qualified domain name. |
Codec Location |

Contact |
A text identifier for the contact person for this managed node, together with information on how to contact this person. |
To configure SNMP device settings:
1.Press the HOME button to return to the Home screen, then tap Settings
.
2.Tap to expand the System menu and then tap SNMP .
3.Tap to adjust each setting in turn.
4.Tap Done in the top right-hand corner of the TOUCH SCREEN to save each new entry.
