Ember+ is an open standard control protocol developed by Lawo which allows a third party application to gain access to device parameters. The codec supports:
•Get / set GPIO ports via Ember+.
•Rules created with local inputs and outputs. Ember inputs are not currently supported.
Gateway provides a single Ember+ provider on TCP port 9000. The port number is fixed and cannot currently be changed. The codec firewall settings need to be adjusted in the Toolbox Web-GUI to open this port.
1.Open the HTML5 Toolbox Web-GUI and click Settings in the Menu Bar, then click Options to display the Options panel.
2.Select Firewall, then Edit.
3.Click to select the Enable Ember+ check-box, then click Save.
Important Note: Ember+ is currently only supported on LAN1 and LAN2 and not AoIP ports 1 and 2. |
